    HP Spec indicate 3GB (1GB onboard + 2G DDR3 Modules).

However, i've seen many Ion platform capable of support 4GB

Does 311 support 4GB DDR SODIMM modules natively?

If not any work around? I'm thinking about buy 311 and put 4GB modules

and use 1~2G as ramdisk to speed things up.

3GB really is the max. Atleast when I've tried installing a 4GB on mine, it didn't boot up. Anyway, more than 3GB would be a waste as the Atom proc on 311's are only 32bit procs.
