    can you upgrade the ram and HDD yourself?

    My other question is what games can it play? I know it may sound trivial, but if I can play some games on it I will :D

    you can upgrade ram and HD yourself.

    as for games, solitaire would be pushing its limits.....

    I found some videos of it playing Cstrike 1.6 and WoW. Granted wow was not good, but it did run.

    How much more performance would you get out of a 5400/7200 compared to an SSD and how much battery life do you lose?

    if your talking about the consumer minis the ram upgrade is easy but the HDD is pointless. It comes with a 1.8 inch 4200rpm IDE drive. AFAIK you can't get anything faster than 4200rpm so other than a higher capacity drive.
