    Hey guys,

Just grabbed a couple G6-1c45dx) laptops and am preparing to removal the bloatware.

Am burning the HP Recovery Media right now, and was going to do a fresh reload of Win7 Home Premium 64Bit but wondered if it would be quicker/easier to do a "Minimal System Restore" that i read about somewhere on here.

EDIT: Just found out it's referred to as a "Minimized System Image" and NOT a "Minimal System Restore".

Is this option available to me on the G6 consumer line of laptops?

Also...anybody know of a good disk cloning tool similar to Acronis True Image but free??

    Thanks!

"Minimized System Image" restore IS available on the consumer line G6 laptops.

Better than having to download and install from scratch.
