When i play videos that i uploaded from my cameras memory card, it says im missing codec -0010-8000-00AA00389B71} and there is no sound to the videos. I also cant upload the videos to youtube (despite having no sound).
is there a way to fix this?

If the camera's video requires a special codec, then I would imagine that it is provided on the camera's install disc. If not just download and install VLC. It will play pretty much anything

What format do the videos get transferred from the camera as? Are they MPEG, AVI, WMV, or something else? You might have luck with them if you convert them from one format to another. There is a very simple freeware utility to do this with called SUPER, which may be able to help you resolve the no sound issue and result in a video file that YouTube can utilize.
