    I succeeded to install WindowsXP
    and installed most needed components.
    Few links on this topic:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-compaq/378373-xp-hdx18t.html

doesn't work and few links are death.

The first ones I can't download them because Intel has moved them.
And the Audio driver doesn't work.

Here is a screenshot for missing drivers:

Could anyone please upload the drivers for WindowsXP?

    Help would be appreciated.

I can't help you with installing XP, but here is a thread in the HP forums where many have found it useful.

General XP Downgrade Guide for HP Laptops - HP Support Forum

Cheryl is most helpful and if you start a new thread of do a search that deals with your problem, something will come up. I am sure that someone will help out there.

Thank you very much for that link.
Most of them I can recognize.

    I have one question.
Did anyone has ever bought system recovery kit?
When pressed F11 for system recovery, it just load the OS.
    Not the system recovery.
My thoughts are the F11 cannot load the system recover
because there is no recovery present on the OS harddisk.
If there was Vista with recovery, it could load the recovery by pressing F11.

    But I could be wrong.
If anyone had this same problem, it would be appreciated
if that is true what Im thinking.
