I need a schematic of the MoBo for a HP ZV6000.

I have a charge problem. The power supply is good, but the MoBo does not allow the current to get to the battery and computer. It will run off the battery, but will not charge, or run off the power supply.

I need a schematic or at least a partial of the charging circuit.

Anyone know where I can get it, or a place that actually repairs MoBos?

    Thanks
    Rick

    You've posted this question before.

I highly doubt you can get a schematic for you ZV6000 (or any notebook, for that matter).

However, based on the symptoms you are describing, it could simply be the power jack has gone bad or has a loose connection to the Mobo. Check the solder connections on the power jack.

Are you saying to send the computer to HP or just a request? I cant afford to pay them to fix it. It is out of warranty, I think. And I am the second owner.

The jack is good and the power supply is also. I fix jacks here a lot. It looks like a regulator chip is not conducting and I need to find out what controls it.

Do you have an email address to contact at HP?

    Thanks
    Rick

That is a link to a sales line, that right off said my computer was out of warranty, when it didn't even have the info, as to what computer I had!

I cant believe no one has any mobo info, that I can find. This would be a simple repair, provably only 1 transistor. I sure dont want to buy a mobo for such a simple thing
