Although i can remove it with effort and large tweezers, this just seems too tight somehow.

What am i doing wrong? I got it in the right way with buttons facing up, and i do not jam it in too hard (i think) yet still too difficult to access.
Do i have to file the edge a little maybe? Or perhaps attach a tab to pull it easier, like tape for example.
 love the machine otherwise

Push it inside a little. It should pop out.Unless it's stuck much too hard.

    That's correct.

The Express Card remotes simply need to be pushed on a bit, and then they'll pop out.

i have the same problem. I think its a problem with the metal guide inside, as my remote doesnt go in straight and only at an angle. Even if I push it farther it just gets more stuck and then I have to remove it with a pair of pliers.

Its a pain the the ass on an otherwise solid machine

I didn't know it operated on that priciple. Thanks I'll be giving away at least two rep points for this sweet rescue.
