    According to HP, my laptop only supports up to 2GB RAM. I have heard of people successfully upgrading their notebooks to more than the "maximum" RAM. Is this possible with my notebook?

    Flash in the latest BIOS, then go to Circuit City / Best Buy and get some RAM to try - if it does NOT work, yo can return it.

    People has also reported success trying 3 and 4GB in the C700 series, so you never know.
