I heard somewhere on this forum that HP is supposed to provide the option to upgrade to a better video card soon on hpshopping. I want to go with the core duo, but the GMA 950 is a serious turn-off. Does anybody know of HP's future plans to provide more customizable options?
-
I don't see it happening, but I could be wrong.
-
They were supposed to offer the Go 7200 with the Intel versions of the dv2000T, no idea what happened to that plan. But there have been some preconfigured models with the Go 7200 appeared on HP's website. So, they might be releasing it pretty soon with the CTO models.

What does CTO stand for?
-
CTO means customized laptop....
-
it was build to order at one time, but i guess it is custom to order.
-
It generally is refered to as configured to order.

Sit tight. They are coming. HP added more pre-config. models since I last checked.
The dv6000 is being released in August with the Go 7200 so we can also expect it to show up on the dv2000t at the same time.

Enjoy! (These are several different pre-config models) -
Some of those pre-config setups are really nice. Can we order those?
