    Hi All,

I have a laptop HP pavilion dv6255eu with a VGA card problem (1 long beep & 2 short beep and the monitor dose not light up) and because the VGA card is build-in I have to change the motherboard.

The laptop is out-of warranty. So, I will buy one from eBay

    I found 2 models compatible

443774-001 with Nvidia GeForce GO 7200
433280-001 with Nvidia GeForce GO 7600

The one installed now is 443774-001 but It was repaired once and this is the second time. I don't know the previous motherboard model.

Can any body help me choose between 433280-001 & 443774-001

    With regards.

    Thank you,

I already chicked the list in the web site you have provided, RY610EA not in the list!!.
also I have called HP service & they talled me remove the AC cable & the battery then to press & hold the power botton for 3 minutes to discharge any electricity from the motherboard but nothing changed.

then they talled me that the computer is out off warranty & I have to pay 400 euros (the price of new computer)

so, either to buy from ebay or to through the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    @xenon3003,

I couldnt see any reference that 433280-001 actually has GO 7600 on it, I believe its a mistake of the person advertising the sale. According to the HP parts store 433280-001 - which is the one specified in your model's maintenance guide - was replaced by the current 443774-001.

    thank you Booyoo,

it maybe a mistake as you said.

in this case 433280-001 & 443774-001 are defected beacuse the matherboard was replaced once which I think was 433280-001 & now I have 443774-001 with the same problem. actually the computer works fine after several turn-off & turn-on especially when it is hot & I had to disable sleep mode when pluged to AC to make sure it work with me the whole day.

anyhow I already bought 443774-001 for 90 euros with 3 month warranty & waiting for it to arrive.

    thanks again.
