The mute button won't work until after rapidly pressing it for 10 seconds or so, then after awhile it will stop working again, and I repeat the process or just use the windows volume control, which is annoying since the point of a mute button is to be able to use it. I haven't tried it on the remote yet to see if it's a computer prob or a button prob. The button works right now so I can't try it.

    Try re-install QLB.

I reinstalled it, but I have to restart my computer before changes can take place and I don't feel like it right now. I did figure out that when the button doesn't work on the notebook, it does work on the remote.

So it is a hardware issue. Are you still in warranty?
