    My 3 gb ram dv2800 now says it only has 1 gb ram. help?

    I have the dv2800 artist edition. i had it built with 3 gb ram and for months thats what it had. at the startup screen it would say that it had 3 gb ram, now when its starts up its says it only has 1 gb ram. what do i do, can i fix this myself or do i need to send it in? thank you

    Try testing each stick of ram.

    just remove the ram sticks and place them back properly.
    if that fails do what he said
