    pretty self explanatory. my keyboard is so stoned it can't function.

    anyone have a pinout for the keyboard header so I can scope it and see what's going on?

    it's a dv9548us. i found nothing in the "service manual" (should be called a disassembly guide, 'cause that's ALL it is) relating to pinouts

    i basically want to verify that I still have +VCC going to the keyboard before I just buy another one.

    Well, one, why not try a rice bath to rid it of moisture ? ...

    Don't know of a pinout myself ...

    KB's are fairly cheap, so you might just want to grab one anyway. If you did have a VCC issue for the zif, then you likely could return the now non-needed KB ...

    Call the police. They have standard procedures for cleaning out computers that takes hits from the bong.

    it responded today so I guess I still have VCC

    i found a broken dv9k on craigslist real cheap (GPU went out, most parts were already gone)
