I'm thinking of ordering an HP dv4000 so that comforts me a lot. Have you tried running games on it yet?

    Ill add in something:
It is a very very nice attractive machine. You will be very pleased. The X700 will be very nice at games and there shouldnt be much trouble. There are better cards out there but for the DV4000, X700 is the highest it can go. You will be very pleased.

I play SWAT4 and FEAR, and I am very pleased with the performance.

I would say the DV4000 equipped with X700 is about the same as a desktop with a 6600GT.

Very nice for the money invested. Also get a minimum of 1GB DDR2.

    Good luck.
