This thread will be very exclusive to those who may have an SSD in their HDX16T. Particularly and Intel SSD X25-M.
Ever since I've got the intel SSD this HDX16t monster is DAMN quiet. And I mean not even whisper quite, its like the notebook is NOT-ON-quite.
That's how dead silent this notebook really is.

The thing/issue is that I began to notice that the monitor makes this constant buzz when it's on. And it only get louder when the brightness goes up.
It's not very loud at all. You'd have to put your ear about 3 inches away in order to hear it. But the fact that it does.
However, I would of never been able to hear the monitor noise with a regular HDD and I'd be totally fine with that. A regular HDD is way to loud now that I've been on SSD for a while.

But the fact that I can hear it makes it weird.
I can almost be sure that if you do not have an SSD, you'd not be able to hear what I am talking about. If you can hear it with a regular HDD, then your monitor must be SUPER loud.

Check back with me to see if you can hear this noise if any of youSSD users on the HDX16T out there.

Dude you might be the only one with a SSD on your hdx16. Just like I'm the only one who uses wireless N with my hdx16. Free bump.

Actually, I've been using wireless N all this time. I have not wireless issue at all.
I just find it ridiculous that you have reconnection issues with yours.
