    I It is AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M , 4096MB DDR3 SDRAM

I by mistake pressed the airplane mode but when I try to turn it off it still doesn't connect to wifi. I tried turning the computer off and on.

Not sure if you got this fixed but I have the same laptop and had problems with wifi after a restart. Plugged it into my router and contacted hp support. They sent me a link for wifi drivers and now everything works great.

Could you send me the link for wifi drivers too?
I went to Best Buy and the Geek Squad fixed it. They just turned off the computer and then messed around for 10 minutes and it started working.

But I'm afraid it might happen again.

Sadly I have had the issue multiple times now, so I am very disappointed with this computer. The first one of these I had to return to Best Buy the very next day. It was so poorly built that the USB ports were jacked and you couldn't fit anything into them. There was also an internal wire sticking out of the back...
For the most part this replacement I have has worked great. It looks good and performs well, but from day one it has had the wifi issue. Troubleshooting it tells me to reset my router, yet I have two Xbox's in the house which are connected just fine as well as my cell phone. I am worried there may be something wrong with the laptop's network adapter. Idk... Another issue I am having multiple times a day is that when I am connected to the internet my browser gives me a, "webpage can not be displayed there is a problem with your network connection" error. I just refresh it a couple of times and then it works. Idk what to do...
