It was requested that I do a new thread to measure my service experience. The short explanation is that my tx2510us died on the last day I was able to return it at an hour too late to head to the stores. I had a great experience with customer service, and after calling Friday morning I received my box last night from FedEx.

They should've given you a Service Order number to track the progress.
I'm happy that they are being quick about it. There are stories about HP being a bit slow at this. Once again, that is unfortunate that the laptop had a heart attack only two weeks after purchase. -
Updated.
Estimated delivery date 9/15/2008, lets see if they honor this date. Im hoping its true since Ill be home for a FIOS install at my home. -
5 days early and the laptop is in perfect shape! They replaced the motherboard, and everything is how I left it. I missed the FedEx delivery by literally 1 min, so I watched the truck drive off down the road. So a quick call to FedEx and in 30 mins I got a re-delivery and like a little kid I ran up stairs and ripped it open. After turning around and making so I didnt have to take tomorrow off to wait for delivery has earned FedEx a definite return customer. But the fact that HP fixed my laptop so fast makes me want to definitely buy HP again.

Nice. Glad everything worked well for you. Thanks for reporting to install some confidence in HP. Lots of hit and miss stories on here. Mostly miss. So some offset is always nice.

Yeah I was kinda worried after reading alot of stories in this forum, so as you can imagine I am quite happy. Also great to have my tablet back so I don't have to lug my monstrous 17in laptop around anymore.
