    Now that it has shipped and l look at the tracking info...


    Kunshan, China. Any idea how long it'll take from there to the east coast? I'm hoping by Friday.

    It's very fast from China. Mine shipped on a Friday and I got it Monday. And that was with the standard free shipping.

    how accurate was the build/shipping estimate on the hpshopping order page? I ordered a dell b130 for my inlaws at xmas and they beat their own estimate by a full week. im wondering if hp might be the same. maybe i just got lucky. im considering a dv5000t via hpshopping for myself is why i ask.

    Mine was delivered to ohio from china in 2 days, and that was the free 5 to 7 day shipping! They are fast!

    My estimated build date was tomorrow March 8th, so l'm happy that it was shipped out ahead of schedule...be it only one day.

    For those of you with stories of very fast shipment:

    Did your computers arrive before the date posted on FedEx? Mine says it shipped on March 6 and it will arrive on March 8 - of course, I don't know if they are posting their time from China or not, but, yea.

    I would think it would be three days from China. It only took two days for me but I live in Minnesota. Enjoy your new laptop!

    Ok, so

    If FedEx says that my item left Anchorage, Alaska at 2:18 PM, does that mean it left at 2:18PM AKST (their time) or 2:18 PM CST (my time).

    The site isn't too clear on this.
