I have an HP DV5030us and have had it for over a year now.

I have reinstalled the audio driver along with all the other ones on the CD, didnt work

I tried going into the system windows audio and starting the audio, didnt work

I have gone onto HP website to download the driver, didnt work

Does anyone know what I can do? I called HP and they said I'm not under warranty anymore and in order to just TALK to a technician, I have to pay $100 to renew my warranty for one year. Just to TALK to a technician. The lady had a deep indian accent of course and had no sympathy for me

blah, I don't know what I can do..... Dunno where this even came from, the audio just stopped working one day. It says I have no audio device... its so weird

    someone please please help
