My pc has no longer turns on. Apparently, the core 2 duo has fried the system board. It was year and 3 months old! I bought it from CompUsa and since their stores are all closed, there is no carry in service. It must be mailed to a service provider.

And of course, CompUsa screwed up the warranty paperwork. Fortunately, I had the receipt and have faxed it to the warranty people. The bad thing is that I leave home for training for a whole month leaving my wife stuck sending the laptop out!

I am not sending it in with the hard drive since I have not backed it up recently (pictures everything else is fairly recent).

Hey man, I have the exact same notebook...and I've had it for about 1 year and 1 month.

    Uh oh.
