    My laptop has started getting an issue where I return from a page with a black or dark background and it appears as if my brightness went down. If I transition to a white or light coloured page, it slowly goes back to the original brightness. Would there be any software related issues that I can change in settings or would this be a hardware issue? My laptop is out of warranty, so I don't know if I can send it to get its screen replaced if its a hard problem. Anyone else having issues with the display changing brightness when going from a dark to light background?
