Ok I go to my power options and plan settings and select to have the display turn off after a certain amount of time, and it wont do it. I used to have it set to turn off after 30 minutes, but now it's not wanting to do it anymore. Any suggestions?

Well, this doesn't exactly fix your problem, but download Monitoroff.exe.

That's what I use. You can just make a shortcut to it on your desktop.

Otherwise, try resetting the defaults on the power plan, and then re-customizing it.

    Cheers!
