NB8218 $100 Coupon gone?

I noticed today via the NEWS forum and on the Coupon Mountain website that the coupon (for $100 off customized HP's) is gone. It was not suppose to expire until 7/31 or 8/1. According to the NEWS forum here, it expired 7/28, 3 to 4 days early. Does anyone know why it is gone or at least appears to be? Has anyone tried to use it today and was successful?

 

there was a rebate that definitely expired today, and according to those that have tried to use the coupon it did not work so I need to update the expiration in the news posting to reflect the fact the coupon has expired [V]

 

Which rebate expired?

I printed off all the rebates a while back (both $100 ones and the $50 one). I then called HP to inquire if I could use one of the $100 instead of the $50 and was told that I could since they don't expire until 9/1 and I would be ordering a customized HP. Now since I purchased my HP on 7/26 I should still qualify for either $100 rebate even if one (or both) expired 7/28. Right?

I used the $100 coupon on the 28th. I had to call it in though. The sales rep said it was suppose to expire at the end of the day, but mistakenly ended up expiring earlier that day on the site.

Thats pretty short, perhaps they bring the $100 back next week?

 

That $50 coupon has been there for a while. I was hoping to combine it with the $100 coupon plus a $10 one for $160 savings (at that time). However you can only use one coupon. So of course, I took the bigger one.
