I have an NC4010 and want to replace the HDD

Will a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 250GB ATA be compatible?

Apart from RAM are there any other parts of this notebook that are upgradeable?

apparently that small computer has a socketed cpu, so you can upgarade that too. upgrade to another pentium m(400mhz fsb) only

the Western Digital Scorpio Blue 250GB should be compatible because it has an ide/p-ata interface(not sata) and is a 2.5" hard drive.

also upgradable is the bios if you feel like it.

I have now upgraded the HDD and all is working well.

I currently have a Pentium M 735 1.7GHz - what else is available to upgrade to and where can I get one?

Also where can I find Bios upgrade?

How many RAM slots do you have? I'm trying to sell off two sticks of 1GB PC 2700 333MHz ram. They're from my older laptop and work very well.

I have 2 RAM slots both with 512mb in.
I've been told that this laptop can only take a maximum of 1GB.
