I could use some help. I have a KVM to share one monitor/mouse/keyboard between two computers.
I just got a NC6400 with docking station, but have a problem.

Whenever I select the NC6400 the screen is out of alignement. I can use the Intel tools to shift it around a bit, but when I switch to the other PC and back again - the alignment issue reappears.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

the align issue is not laptop related... but kvm related... the problem is that the kvm does not know what signal it's getting nor to what signal should it convert to...

if you were to use diffrent resolutions for each computer you could tweak the lcd to center and it would keep the parameters since most modern lcds keep the settings on each resolution used

Ok so if I use the same resolutions, then this problem will occur - but different resolution and the LCD will remember the alignment? Thanks
Only problem is that I want to use the base resolution of the LCD for all machines I connect otherwise ... Any way around this? Did not have the same problem with standard CRT monitors?
