Does anyone know when HP is going to refresh their business line, specifically the NC8430 with Vista? HP said by the end of the month over the phone, though who knows if that will happen. Also, it would be nice if they added some Smartbuy models with more memory (2GB, maybe 160 GB hard disk) to better handle Vista.

They might do it after Santa Rosa comes out

Business systems tend to be a bit more conservative, so I figure it'll be a while.

I suspect the nc8430 itself won't get vista at all... but a subsequent model would. For example, if they're going to wait for Santa Rosa, they might as well upgrade the video card while they're at it.

Called them again today and once again they said end of the month. This should not really have anything to do with Santa Rosa. The delay is probably more in making sure all their drivers work properly. Right now I am torn between the HP and the Asus V1.
