    HI,
I bought a HP tc4200 from a police auction and later found out it had SafeGuard Easy v4.11 on it. I don't have the username or password. I am not sure what i can do to get around this. Is there any specific button i can press to go to the bios settings before the SafeGuard Login screen comes up. Then change to boot device to be the CD rom drive. Then boot from a Windows CD and format the drive and reinstall the operating system.
Also since this tablet laptop does not have an optical drive if i plug in a USB CD drive will that be able to boot from the CD?
Is there any other way to get around this problem or do i just resign myself to throwing away the laptop.
    Any advice is much appreciated.
    Thanks.

It's not allowed to talk of such things in here by MODS.You can bring it back to the police station or a computer repair shop.

Translation: You stole the tc4200 and now want to crack the password.

Sorry, but we get enough spammers asking about that...
