    I have a dv9429us (AMD Processor) notebook.

On the HP support site, there are two BIOes files a F.3D version from Nov. 2007 and the F.42 that you have posted.

My current BIOs is an even older version.

IF I upgrade to F.42, will the F.3D fixes be included as well or will I have to do two separate flashes?

Is there anything else I have to consider or do to ensure a safe and successful flash?

The F.42 update should already include the F.3D fixes, so two separate flashes will not be necessary.

To ensure a successful flash, make sure you are connected to AC power, and do not connect/disconnect any hardware during the flash process. The BIOS flash utility will show you some guidelines to follow just before the flash begins.
