I have a HP DV6000t with Intel 7200, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD. when I install Notebook Hardware Controls and activate "Monitor Hard Disk SMART and Control" in order for the program to show the temp of HDD, it does not.
Can some one please tell me, if my computer is incompatible with this software of there is something I should do to get the Temp to show. I also should mention that when I use HD Tune it shows the temp but not NHC.

    Thanks for your help

it might have something to do with the SATA drive. NHC didn't even work with Core 2 until a very recent patch was released.

If you want to know HDD temps, consider downloading Everest Home Edition. You can find the link on NBR's "write a review" section. It might be a little old (it says my chipset isn't fully supported...but there aren't any problems), but it definitely works with my SATA drive.

Also, NHC, wont display the correct processor speed while Rightmark does. I have to use both NHC and rightmark to get the right battery mins available and the right clockspeed. NHC is stuck at 1.99ghz for the T7200
