I am looking at 2 HPs one with with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M and the other with the Intel X3100. Is there a good site to compare these GPU's as well as others found in laptops? Not so much raw numbers but how well the perform with games, etc.

    Thanks

7150M should be better, but if you game, get a dedicated card.

Both of them arent made for gaming as their low end gfx cards.. Id aim straight for 8600GT or 8400GS at the least. Integrated cards is a nono if your gaming

I have a Geforce GO 7200 and i can play hl2 and cs:source on max settings with Anti-Aliasing off and it stays at 45fps. The fps does spike and lag at some scenes and maps. I wouldnt recommend either of those 2 if you wanna play recent games..

Hey, I'm debating on getting an HP notebook with the GeForce 7150 or a dell with the GeForce 8400 Go. I know the latter would be much better for games like half life 2 and counter strike source, but is it worth the extra $200 if I only play those games about once a month? (i mean i have an xbox 360)

Any help or links would be great. ty :)

P.S. I have the Intel GMA 950 on my current comp, and it sucks. It runs most FPS games at under 5 frames per second, so I doubt Intel has made a card since even comparable to Nvidia. Stay away from the X3100.

Yes, joeybaggadonuts, the Nvidia go7150 will be able to play call of duty 2. I play mine on medium settings with no problems and I have an Nvidia go6150. I've been hearing that the go7150 has made quite a few improvements, so I'm assuming that it will work even better.
