    HI guys,
yesterday i had this problem with my HP 9110 - the LCD just satys black no matter what i do. i can see that there are some opened progs and everything else works fine. When i press the pin like button that connecting the lid and the notebook i could see for a second the LCD clearly then it blacks out again.
    Somebody familiar with this issue?
    tnx a lot

Perhaps there is a connection issue with the monitor.

I would try reinstalling the video drivers, see if that does anything.

Give HP a call, they are normally pretty good with these types of things. ;)

I asked a guy at the service - he said either the luminiscnet lamp is gone (which costs a lot) or a small chip, but i don't think it;s the drivers.
Tomorrow will bring it to service, and see what they say...
till then i am open to advices
