Its pretty strange.
Laptop is 9 months old, and basicly it was used on ac adapter, by my sister, rarely on battery. Problem is, when battery is full charged, i turn on the laptop without ac adapter, and it wont start, the led flashes 8 times (led that has storm icon above it). Then i plug ac adapter in, and i start laptop, and battery says it has 100%,and i can remove ac adapter and it works on battery. After battery level reaches 0, i can charge it again to some percentage (33 % or 50% it doesnt matter), and when i remove ac adapter, and turn the computer on it works normally on battery, and it says how many % and time left there is. So tell me what is the problem, faulty battery or something else?
Thanks in advance.

1. I'd get the battery replaced (under warranty for 1 year only, so get it done now) as there could be a problem with that.
2. If that doesn't fix it, it's possible there could be some oxidation on the battery contacts on the notebook, try cleaning it off and see if it helps.
3. It's possible youre systemboard could be messed up a bit. There could be a short of some sort which is causing the battery to be detected/not detected at different times. It'd get the board replaced as a final step. This should fix the issue after it's replaced.
