    Hello.

I have an NX6325 here and I am unable to reinstall the OS. I dont want to use that OS that was already preinstalled so I wanted to make a clean format and install only things I want.

After booting from CD/DVD I get to error which says "no HDD detected", I find that weird since it does not have a RAID controller and that "native" Intel controller should work.

Unless there is some problem with the notebook security that suppose to be on this notebook?

I've downloaded the intel controller driver from HP support page, but it is a program that makes an 1.44" diskette which can be used later. That is not possible since this notebook does not have a diskette drive nor I dont have an external device.

    Any ideas?

PS, the HDD IS working, because I booted and was into preinstalled OS which came with this laptop...
