    i think you mean the nc8430 or the nw8440. i'm not too sure which.

    however, the nc8430 review (with details on gaming performance) should be posted shortly on the website. 3dMark05 was around 3950-4000; i don't remember the exact score now.

    as for core 2 duo, you can now order it directly from HP (and probably some resellers) with a core 2 inside. no need to upgrade then.
