Hi, sorry if this question has been asked before, but I was wondering if it was possible to swap out the stock hard drive for a faster one in a hp nx9420. I was also planning to add a stick of ram. Can anyone point in the right direction as to how I would approach doing thiss. Im not too good with computers so i think ill need a step by step type a thing.

    thanks all

It is not hard. The service manual on HP's website will explain the procedure. You will have to reinstall Windows so burn off the recovery CDs if you must before starting.
