    Hi guys,

I am looking for a portable notebook mainly for Office tasks. I came along the HP nc2400 and the HP 6510b. Altough I would like to buy a very portable device (12-13inch) I fear that everything other than a 14inch screen is too small for my eyes.
That´s why I think about buying the 6150b instead.

Is there a picture that compares the two screen sizes (12 and 14 inch)?
What would you suggest? Thank you so much!

The nc2400 is an older model, which has since been replaced by the HP 2510p:

Also, if I recall, the 6510b is rather thick (maybe heavy also?) for a 14.1" notebook. The 6910p is a thinner, lighter, and more powerful alternative to the 6510b (and more expensive, too).

Now, as far as whether a 12.1" will be too small... you're just going to have to try one out. Although most stores don't carry HP Compaq business notebooks, they will have a variety of different brands/models with screen sizes ranging from 12.1" to 17", so you can try out different screen sizes to see which one works the best for you.

I love my nc2400. The flaw for some is the 4200 rpm hard drive, but I use it for office apps and it works great. The newer 2510p looks even better, since it includes a touchpad.

Good advice. The HP tx1000 is comparable in size to the nc2400 and many stores have that. Take a look and see how it feels.

if you want something to be extremely portable, get a 12 inch
    otherwise, get a 14 inch
