First, do not use window glass cleaner - it will streak and make the surface almost impossible to get clean. For most finger prints, the microfiber cloths sold in camera stores will work (they are safe for the delicate coatings on camera lenses). If need be, you could moisten the cloth with water (very little water) to get off stuborn prints. For very dirty screens, there are commercial LCD screen cleaners, but for the most part, I have had less than good results from these. Also, the screen surface is easy to scratch, so be gentle, and sometimes, using the microfiber cloth as a 'duster' works to get most of the blemishes off.
