    Hey guys,

Today I got my extra stick of RAM and a Logitech MX900 wireless mouse!

The RAM installed without a hitch, that's good.

but the mouse is driving me crazy! I do NOT want to use the charging cradle as the Bluetooth base, because I already have bluetooth integrated into the laptop. But, for some reason They cannot connect! I got them paired, and I can see the mouse in the bluetooth screen on the laptop, but when I click join, it seems to connect for a second (although mouse doesn't work) and then it disconnects. This sucks.

any help in getting this to work is appreciated. I could use this mouse on my desktop until I go to college, but it's kind of a waste of 70 bucks if I can't use it with the laptop.

again, if anyone knows of a procedure to get the MX900 to work with my HP zx5000, please share. I've done some searches, but haven't come up with anything.

You're using the Bluetooth software included with your notebook and not Logitech's, right? I got my Microsoft mouse to work by right-clicking on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray, Explore My Bluetooth Places, held down the button on the mouse and clicked View devices in range, right-clicked on the (hopefully visible) mouse icon and paired it.

The Logitech software might be ok, but the stuff HP bundled worked for me.

That's what I kind of used, it tried to make a connection but doesn't hold it.

I can try to see if I just need to reinstall the HP software or something.

EDIT: well I re-installed the HP software, and boom, mouse works. *shrug*.
