Hello all, first time user here... I am looking at a used HP with 1.4gig processor, Memory 256, Hard drive 20 gig, network card, dvd player, cd player/burner, Windows XP. I think he said it was an HP EX1210? but not for sure. The computer powers up and works fine. Battery is good and comes with home charger.

The question I have is will this work for my sons college? Mostly typing papers writing and surfing the web, and power point, NO GAMES. The guy wants $250.00 and I do not know if it is worth it. He is a pretty good local person who I know. Is this worth $250? Oh yeah, he said that the left click button did not work; however using the mouse pad for yor clicker works 100%

Does anyone know where I can get info on this laptop?

    Thanks,
    Chris

For that it will work fine. You could buy a mouse, but I don't know if you want something already broke. You might want to upgrade the memory, 256MB is a little low for XP.
