Hello guys, the only thing stopping me from buying the 9500t is the resolutions. I personally like the 1650 over the 1440, but many people have said that the 1440 is much brighter and clearer. I will be playing many games with this machine, what resolution would you guys sugguest for me?

    Cheers

well the ultrabright version of the 1440 res is good but it doesnt matter cuz the most modern games will probably have issues running at those resolutions at high settings. u wud have to settle for about 1024 for high settings

If you are a gamer, you would better be off with 1440x900. It will allow you to play newer games at native resolution with higher settings then 1680x1050.

okay thanks so much, but if i were to play games at less than 1024 anyways would 1680 even matter? only the fact that its less brighter and clear right?

I'm not a gamer, but I really think 1680x1050 is the way to go. Higher resolution is always better, IMO. You can always run your games at a lower resolution. It will scale down pretty well. Especially if you're running the game at less than 1024 (so you are scaling anyway), you might as well have the extra screen space when you're not in the game.

When I ordered mine the sales rep told me that the 1680x1050 is the way to go. Higher resolution is always better.
