Hi!
I've got a HP Pavilion dv5-1264eo and would like to get digital sound out to my reciever. Is the only way to achieve this by using a Quickdock?!??!Those things are quite expensive and I only need S/PDIF out, so if anyone know other products who work please speak up

And another question: I realised that only 3GB ram is being used by windows 32bit and I've got 4GB installed. When Windows 7 arrives will it be possible for me to install the 64bit version to use the full 4GB? I could'nt find any info in the manual.
/thanks!!

Unfortunately you need the dock for SPDIF out. To answer your 2nd question, any 64-bit OS will be able to use 4GB RAM, actually, i'd suggest you to skip the wait and install the Windows 7 RTM. It's good for a month and it's a nice improvement over Vista. When it expires the final will probably be out.

Yeah I have Windows 7 build 7100 on my desktop and it is awesome. Thanks for the reply! -
Build 7600 has been out for a while if you didn't know.
