    Hi NBR,

I have a dv2000t that has the VGA red output failing. I also have xb3000 docking station, same problem on that.

I'm looking for a way to get 1680x1050 resolution with non-laggy performance that's not too expensive (<$125?), or some kind of magic fix (tried blanket reflow , it worked for a day but then I had to take it to school, didn't work after that)

    Thanks!
    SH

Well the magic fix is either to use a heat gun, or bake the board. The blanket method isn't recommended since it heats up the whole laptop which is bad for it.
