    Hi All

I am looking for a XP video driver for a HP 6710b that will allow me to select a wide screen resolution other than 1680 x 1050 which is far to small for my OLD or aging eyes. I would like t find a driver with a 1280 x 800 resolution as in my search of the web in may reviews they talk about this model at that resolution.

I have tried the Intel site as well as the HP and have contacted HP support but just go round in circles as the say they don't suport XP on this Model.

    All Help gratefully received

    Paul H

Since you most likely have an nvidia graphics card, go to www.laptopvideo2go.com and download the latest drivers.

But if your graphics card is an ati graphics card, then download the latest desktop drivers from ati.com and use the mobility modder to get them to install. More info on this in the gaming section of this forum.

And about the resolution. If you can't read the words, you can increase the DPI of your screen.

After installing new drivers you will have either nvidia control panel or catalyst control center, in which you can change resolution.
