    Hi All
I have just got an HP ZV6000 and it has a charging problem on the MoBo. I need a schematic of the charging circuit on the MoBo. The power supply and battery are good.

Where can I locate this schematic please?

    Thanks
    Rick Harvey

    Is it new?

If so I suggest getting this serviced from warranty...

What exactly are the symptoms? If it's an intermittent connection (i.e, you have to wiggle the power connector at the PC to get it to work), you probably just need to re-solder the power connector back on.

I don't think they have schematics, but HP does have some outstanding service documentation: HP Services Media Library

And I've already verified that they have documentation on your particular model.

    Good luck!

Probably a proprietary motherboard and can't divulge the schematics due to corporate secret.

It is out of warranty, I am sure. I am the 2nd owner. The power supply and jack are fine. There is no current path through the board from the power jack to the battery, (and computer load itself). I think the control for a regulator 8 pin dip chip is the problem. It runs fine off the battery, but I cant recharge the battery or run off the power supply.
