Hey guys this is my first post so bear with me.
I've just recently gone through the hassle of removing Vista from my HP NC8430 laptop and reinstalling XP pro on it. Boy was that process annoying, hehe, but I'm having a bit of troube with 2 things. Nr 1: I really want to have the HP quick launch button and info center functional but I cannot find where to download them. Could anyone help me locate the software? Nr 2: Since I've reinstalled XP I've installed A LOT of drivers and I have finally installed every driver I can find except for 3 unknown devices. One is on the PCI bus, one is on the APCI compiant system and the last one is on the Intel 82801GBM interface...what could these three things be?
Anyway sorry for this relatively long post...but thanks for looking.

This might help the buttons issue:

Also, at least one PCI device is probably the fingerprint reader and the other the TPM module. Download and install in this order:

After you are done you can uninstall the ProtectTools Suite, but keep it if you want to use the fingerprint reader.
Not sure about the 82801GBM, but it sounds like a HDD controller part. Try these and install in order:

After that, just start looking for drivers here:

Great thanks for your quick reply. The thing about the Quick launch button is that i need the actual software for it, not an update.
Edit: I've resolved two of the unknown drivers and found out that the last one is the driver for the quickbutton software. Now all I have to do is find that software and all will be great.
Edit 2: So I've got everything sorted out yay. I do have one more question though. Is there any HP or Windows or any application for power management in XP that is highly recommended??
Thanks in advance...
