Hi, I have been using the dv6500se for almost 8-9 months now. So far I'm really satisfied with it, it exceeds my expectations in more than one occasion :) . However, as summer approaching, my laptop runs hotter lately (perhaps due to my graphic intensive applications).

So, I want to buy a decent or great laptop cooler. I really want to continue use this laptop for the next 2-3 years for my bachelor degree. I want to ask if anyone know a great cooler for my laptop, since I heard that not every cooler is compatible for HP laptop because it might block out the fan from underneath. Any suggestion is welcome and appreciated. Thankyou for you time.

    Purchase a Zalman NC2000 , a well recommended cooler.

Alternatively you can undervolt, which reduces the cpu temps by 10c or more

No you can't. I have tried finding anything i.e Antec, Targus, Zalman. Nothing finds its way into the Indian Market. Besides I tried finding it in the country's biggest Computer Market so that gives you an idea that I am not just exaggerating the situation.

you could always start a project and create your own one.

Put like 2x 10cm fans on them :)
