Now, they told me that the estimated arrival would be on June 18th, probably in the morning. I know I need to wait and all, and I will, but I know that FedEx somtimes delivers stuff earlier than the estimation.
Do you guys think it will come on the 17th or the 18th? It's VERY important that I have a good guess, because if it may come on the 17th, then I need to make sure that I'll be home that day because I'm usually not on Tuesdays.
Thanks!

Dont worry your head off about it...even if you arent at home when they deliver they will deliver again, or you can go pick it up.

Depends on what type of Fedex delivery. If it's Fedex ground, you're SOL - they are essentially contractors that sub-contract the ground delivery portion for Fedex and are not deemed as "Fedex employees" though their delivery vehicles are says Fedex, they own or are making payments to owning them from Fedex. They are the most inflexible delivery service and operate and deliver when it suits them (read most cost effective) so often times they end up delivering when you are at work even though they will "try", not at all, to make a delivery to suit your schedule. Your best bet is to pick up the delivery yourself.
I had recently bought a Sony, Customized To Order, and the free shipping was through Fedex ground, it was an entire week of futile delivery attempts as the guy would deliver at 9am or 12 pm when I was at work. They would not change to deliver to my work address because it's ground. Back and forth I went with Sony and Fedex with me finally catching Fedex supervisors lying about Sony, with a Sony supervisor on the line. So I just ended up canceling my order and making sure Sony is fully aware the support they receive from Fedex. -
There were more items to my order that were sent out BEFORE the laptop. I recieved these in a timely fashion, and they came in this small trucks labeled "Fedex Home Delivery". Is this the same as Fedex ground? I'm not sure if it is. I believe my laptop will be arriving in the same way.

Nope, Fedex Home Delivery is part of Fedex and offers superior delivery then Fedex Ground. You should be in good hands then though you might need to sign for the item since it's of a higher value, it's a notebook afterall.

Thank you. ^_^
I'll try to plan on hanging around home on the 17th, since I have a very good feeling that it will come early, looking at the path it has taken thus far.
UPDATE:
w00t! Just got my laptop today in the morning! It is two days early! Haha. It was funny...I was just sitting working on my Greek work, and the doorbell rings and there it is! Wow! FedEx is great!
