    Hey guys,

My dv6t 1300 laptop of one year had its battery charger die randomly. I come in my room and the charger is making a beeping noise. I googled it and people said that means it has died. I have no clue how this could have happened. Hp must put a timer in the battery charger and make it cut off after a certain amount of charging time.

I have been googling dv6t battery charger but I cannot find chargers that have the same specs as my current one which is 19w and I go to hp's spare parts website and it doesn't recognize my s/n # or part #. It should not be this difficult to find a replacement charger. I'm not sure what to do. Anyone have any advice?

    Thanks!

I get a lot of my stuff like that from Laptop Parts, Notebook Parts, Accessories, Electronics and More from GetPartsOnline.com

Some of the batteries are refurbs but they state so, but the chargers are branded HP (have ordered one or two from them in the past). You can look up by model #.

Interestingly, one of the HP reps actually referred me there at one point when I asked "Is there any other place you would recommend I get spare parts that isn't quite as expensive as HP?"

    Good luck.
