    I have a v2710us and im using this program called RightMark CPU Clock Utility it says that the battery has a designed capacity of 88800mWh and the fully charged capacity is 58253mWh and the battery is fully charged. why isn't the fully charged capacity 88800mWh? can someone help?

    probably because the program wasn't designed specifically for your notebook, therefore it's not configured correctly and is returning erroneous data.

    Hmm...Looks like it is incompatible with the V2000's battery if it is showing such abig difference. Is the time remaining meter accurate? If you are having problems with the battery then try running HP's battery check utility to check the status of your battery.

    the program says it lasts for 1 hour fully charged and hp battery check says good and high capacity
