Hi - the integrated webcam is driving me nuts! Running Vista Home Premium on my DV2000t, 2 gigs RAM, NVidia Go 7200. Using Quickplay to capture video, after about 10 seconds the video becomes really choppy (like it's dropping frames really bad). I installed the latest driver, which helped initially but it reverted back to the choppiness. And it happens as soon as the capture reaches 10 seconds. Plus, it's not recording audio (yes, I have the mic volume up to 100%). Any suggestions?

OK guys, I fixed it. Actually, the HP online chat helped me as well. Here's what I did:
    - I reset the BIOS (after booting hit F10, reset BIOS)
    - I uninstalled the conexant audio driver from the device manager
    - I uninstalled the HP Webcam driver from the add/remove programs in the control panel
    - I uninstalled the HP Webcam from the device manager
    - DON'T reboot yet
    - download the audio drivers from HP's support site and install
    - download the latest webcam drivers from HP's support site and install
    - reboot
    - the webcam and the microphone work great now!!!

But here's the key. Somewhere in between me messing with the camera before this fix, I downloaded the latest audio drivers from Windows Update. It was not a required update, but I updated anyway. After taking that audio update, the camera started acting weird. Perhaps the audio driver from Windows Update conflicts with the webcam?
Anyway, hope this helps you guys.

I also downloaded the Windows Update audio update on my daughters new dv2000t, so after seeing this post, I rolled back the audio driver. We're trying to see if anything is messed up, but the video looks fine. But when we playback the video, we don't get our audio, Quickplay seems to be playing back some music with the video from the webcam. Why isn't it recording our voices in the audio? She tried home movie software that came preinstalled on the notebook, and we were able to record our voices with the internal microphone. Any help would be appreciated.
